My Heart, Your Territory
I stagger Lord and bleed.
My heart beat bears a seed,
A seed of utmost faith,
Jesus germinate this place!
To develop in your soil of richness,
I stumble my Lord. I am clumsy, I profess.
But, you my Lord, you make me whole.
You, my Savior, are the prize, the goal.
How I long to sit and your feet and seek,
Seek you Jesus, and hear you speak.
Radiance surrounds you as you listen to my tears,
A robe of white, for me, you suddenly prepare.
“Child, I love you and forgive you.”
You kiss my forehead gently.
You look into my eyes of pain ever so intently.
“Rise up my daughter. Walk in strength and might.
You eyes sparkle like shooting stars. You are my delight.”
To feel your robe around my shoulders is ineffable.
You summon me to come and sit me at your table.
Holy, holy, holy, I cry. You reign over all the earth.
In you I find my meaning. God, I find my worth.
You’ve inscribed in my fingers, unique, select imprints.
Everyday I feel you. You embrace me every moment.
Being raptured in your love provides complete elation.
Lord, you are my sturdy Rock. God, you’re my foundation.

Job 37: 1-5:
“At this my heart pounds
and leaps from its place. Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice,
to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. After that comes the sound of his roar;
he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds,
he holds nothing back. God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways;
he does great things beyond our understanding.”
