...Sturdy Sequoia...
Standing tall I am stretched to the limit—to the skies.
I gaze up in wonder, My Maker, amazement glows in my eyes.
You are great. You are radiant. You are tall and ceaselessly strong.
As I stand under nature’s beauty, Your glory echoes in their songs!
With every chirp and whistle, the birds repeat Your name.
The branches of the mighty sequoia tree brilliantly, Your splendor, frames!
I can stand with arms wide open and feel the air salute you.
You are the admirable Father, to You all praise is due.
Come sweet Savior. Come and overwhelm us with your presence.
I wait, my Jesus, fresh grass under my feet, in sheer suspense.
Your mercy, it surmounts my being. It washes over me.
Your words are like fragrant embers. They resemble potpourri.
My heart, it bubbles over, at the thought of dancing in your attire.
Hold me, lead me, guide me, and lift my feet higher and higher.
To be a symbol of sturdiness and certainty at the nail-scarred feet of God,
I sing a ballad of gratefulness—for I am gently guided by Your solid rod.

Psalm 68:35:
A terrible beauty, O God, streams from your sanctuary. It's Israel's strong God!He gives power and might to his people!
O you, his people—bless God!
