Like finger paint, colors splash against the sun,

The deep horizon’s layers bond as one.

A flash of light, the thick hues blend.

In this sequence of obscurity, my shattered heart mends.

What light is this that restores my soul?

This warmth, carried by the wind, makes my life whole!

Like a blanket of gauze, I am secured inside and out.

All hesitation is gone. Assurance replaces doubt.

Faith is stuck like a magnet to my hands and my feet.

I have met the Lord. He plays my heart’s drum beat!

All cares are forsaken in the light of his power.

His mercy is made new in heaven’s glistening shower.

I’m covered in this moisture, caught up in the rain.

His ambiance taken for granted; I will parade his infinite name.

I’ll join the choir and sing for healing as soft as a dove.

For I have felt his hand and tasted his limitless love.

Experience is monumental in this relationship divine.

I have been seated at his table, eaten bread, and lapped his wine.

Encompassed in his wisdom, I can never seek another.

He has filled my days with friendship. Over my life he hovers.

I am his. I follow him. I’m an affectionate lover.

He has awakened these aqua eyes. His truth I’ve rediscovered.

Change is apparent. I will strap on this charge.

Like Jabez’s sincere prayer, my territory, you enlarge!

Set out on a journey, to seek and truly unearth,

The dust flies off my sandals. You have given me a second birth.

    Chronicles 7:14

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
